AirPcap software is a Windows capture driver and toolkit that enables accurate 802.11 (Wi‑Fi) packet capture for analysis in Wireshark and other pcap‑compatible tools. Used with AirPcap USB adapters, it supports true monitor‑mode capture of management, control, and data frames across 2.4 and 5 GHz channels and provides rich per‑packet radio metadata. Key capabilities include channel selection, optional decryption of WEP and WPA/WPA2‑PSK traffic when keys are supplied, multi‑channel capture with multiple adapters, and an API for custom integrations.
